Statement:
Our goal is to
guide your child through their first interaction with the
world around them. Opening doors to educational,
social and practical life lessons giving them the jump start
in their academic journey.
About Our Center:
Horizons Montessori School &
Daycare, Inc. offers a dual
program within the school. The daycare program services
children ages 6 weeks to 29 months; while the Montessori
program services children 2 1/2 years to 5 years. The
childcare program uses the curriculum "High Reach Learning"
while the preschool is currently in pursuit of Montessori
accreditation (AMS). They are focused on educating their
students from the moment they enter the center until the
time they leave. They have an open door policy for all
parents & encourage them to be apart of their child's first
educational experience.
Horizons
Montessori School & Daycare, Inc. is inspired by the
principles and ideas of Dr. Maria Montessori founded in
1907. One of Dr. Montessori's principles is diversity, which
is reflected with our staff.
A critical aspect of
the Montessori philosophy is to focus on the child's learning,
not the teacher's teaching. Horizons Montessori allow the
child to learn at their own pace and in their own time. They
strive to make the child's first educational experience
extraordinary.
